Who said Bliss balls had to be sweet? A lot of sweet energy balls contain a high amount of sugar and carbohydrate from dried fruits. These Cauliflower and Turmeric Bliss balls are packed full of flavour and nutrients. They are also low GI, so they won’t spike your glucose levels – as well as gluten free, high in protein, fibre and vegan . These little gems are made using our roasted Cashew and Turmeric dip, creating a great healthy and tasty snack.

For the turmeric cauliflower:
2 tbsp Curiously Cauli Roasted Cashew and Turmeric Dip
1/2 cauliflower cut into florets
1 400g can chickpeas
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp sesame seeds or dukkah to coat
1–2 tbsp rice flour ( optional)
Pinch of salt
1. Pre heat oven to 170c - 190c
2. Cut cauliflower into florets and place in food processor along with chickpeas, Turmeric dip and chia seeds, blend until smooth consistency.
3. Place sesame seeds or Dukkah in small bowl , Using a spoon, scoop out cauliflower mixture and roll into balls. Roll the in the sesame seeds/ dukkah to coat.
4. Place on prepared tray. Spray with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until light golden and crisp.
Serve: as a healthy snack or lunch in pita bread or dinner with a squeeze of lemon and salad. Hot or cold, whatever takes your fancy. Keep: In fridge or freezer for up to a week.
